Intercon, Inc. has immediate openings for the following positions to assist in meeting the expanding needs of our growing, fast-paced company. The ideal applicant is detail oriented and has experience in manufacturing as well as knowledge of document control systems.
Account Manager
Responsible for managing the customer accounts in regard to the selling and manufacturing of Intercon product; maintaining internal and external systems; and overseeing all other areas necessary for managing the customer.
Candidate will build client relationships by acting as the interface between the company and established customer accounts. This position will serve as the primary point of contact, provide prompt communication, planning and optimization of customer accounts as well as development of customer relationships. Tasks include project management, coordination, strategic planning, and relationship management. Candidate must be well organized, proactive, and have keen interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a necessity. Must possess an understanding of computer systems and their relationship to other modules. Bachelors degree in Business Administration and/or related field from four-year College or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Buyer
This position is responsible for planning, estimating, and buying/procurement functions directly associated with the company’s needs for selected production materials and services. This position is further responsible for the timely planning and scheduling of delivery and inventory of the materials and services assigned, according to MRP requirements and a master schedule.
Understands master production schedule and how it relates to purchasing, receiving, packaging, distribution and inventories, etc. Evaluates services, materials for cost reductions, quality improvement, and new products.
Understands the production process, internal and external, and how the commodities are used throughout the supply chain. Possesses the ability to use solid negotiation, bidding and market/supplier knowledge to obtain the best value for the company.
Qualifications:
Preferably Bachelors degree in Business Administration and/or related field from four-year College or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years experience with electronics manufacturing and/or cable assemblies are a plus.
Must be proficient in oral and written communication skills and posses an understanding of computer systems and their relationship to other modules.

Dedicated, self-motivated and passionate
APICS Certification is a plus

Assembly Technician
Small parts assembler for wire and cable harness assembly. Candidate must have high school diploma or GED. One to three years related experience or training. While performing the functions of this job, the candidate is regularly required to walk, talk, and hear. The candidate is regularly required to stand walk and reach/grasp with hands and arms. The candidate is regularly required to sit. The candidate regularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. The candidate is regularly required to sit or kneel. Candidate must be able to read and utilize a ruler. Candidate will conduct required processes to assemble product according to customer specifications. Candidate will read work instruction and verify that wire is prepped/terminated and cut according to specification. Crimp, plug connectors, and apply covering per customer specification. Utilize hand tools and automatic tools, and follow ISO and other internal procedures as required.

Pay starts at 7.50 – 10.00 dollars an hour, DOE.
